My personal weight loss adventure
So, since I started working I realized it’s about time I get my life together in more ways than just financially.
However, I know myself and I know how easily it is for me to give up on a goal so I had decided to sign up in a weight lose competition to place a financial responsibility towards my weight loss.

The 3 pictures above are the three contests I am enrolled in, run by the company www.healthywage.com, which is a competition sponsored by my company.
The main one is The Matchup which is a 5 person team weight loss competition to lose the most weight. To keep it safe there is a max cap of weight loss at 16.6% of your total weight.
The other two are minor side competitions you can be involved with at the same time. The 10% challenge is a bet to lose at least 10% of your weight in 6 months and the BMI challenge is for people above 30 BMI to get themselves to a healthy BMI of below 25 BMI within a year.
To play, I have spent 60 dollars to sign up for The Match Up and 100 dollars to sign up for the 10% challenge. The BMI challenge is free. My possible winnings for the Match Up could be a first prize of 10,000 and my prizes for the other two would be around 300.
But the money is besides the point.
I just want to lose weight.
So, this is just my way of sharing this possible success/failure with anyone who cares or is interested in knowing of someone else out there who is trying to lose weight too.

So the competition started last Monday and after visiting the doctor my official stats are
181 lbs in weight
and 5’ 4” in height
giving me a BMI of 31.75
at 0 weeks
Today marks the end of my first week and my new stats are
178.2 lbs in weight
and a BMI of 30.55

Hopefully, I can keep this up. Here is to progress, and making yourself happy.
